Throughout the convention, the following individuals addressed the delegates:
Report of Credentials Committee was presented by Jane Burke and adopted. 82 delegates were successfully credentialed.
Agenda and Rules for Convention were adopted
David Weinlick read the Affirmative Action Statement
Jean Johnson, 13-2, nominated Roann Cramer and Julie ? as permanent chairs of the Ward 13 Convention. The motion was adopted.
Chairs began to review the open spots for the available positions within Ward 13.
Chuck Sullivan, 13-1, moved for all places which had names
(uncontested) to be elected at once. That was a question of
clarification. David Weinlick, 13-9, called for an amendment so that
all nominations were heard at once. Both the motion and the amendment
were approved.
There was a call for a nomination of a female to the credentials
committee. Both the names of Ann Skenzich and Sara Barrow were put
forth. Sara Barrow withdrew her name for consideration. Ann Skenzich
was approved for the Ward 13 spot on the Credentials committee to the
City Convention.

Lynnel Mickelson, 13 -?, placed the name of Betsy Hodges into nomination for DFL endorsement for City Council. Ellen Vanlwaarden, 13-6, seconded the motion. There was a motion to endorse CM Hodges by acclamation. Motion was approved and CM Betsy Hodges received the DFL endorsement for Ward 13 City Council.
CM Hodges made a motion to adopt a resolution on pension reform (see attached). Ann Skenzich spoke in opposition to the motion. Motion was approved.
The convention was adjourned at 11:15 am.
