Peter:  He's the cat of Mike and Katie Berry who live two houses away.

We have two bird feeders, one in front of the house and one in back, both close to the house, with undergrowth between.  The birds are messy eaters, and we have accumulated some mice, who lay low until dark and then come out of the bushes to try to score some spilled bird seed.

 Here is Peter in the dark in our front yard, staring with murderous intent at the base of the pole,  hence the pile of hulls and some seeds.  Mice clean up after the birds, Peter wants to clean up the mice.
