Knowing that Wrath cannot protect the Twin Cities from organizations like The New Inquisition forever, many adepts are trying to create an organization of their own. The Covenant is a union of adepts, an organization built to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, use of resources, and exploitation of strength that can only be found in numbers. Those who fear magic's misuse are its most likely enemies. (Nicknames: Unioners, Power Brokers, Witches.)
Inspired by Wrath's example, this loose association of nyctomancers and other crime-fighters work to locate and neutralize anyone who uses magick for Evil. Though the organization has tendrils in most of the United States, its focus has always been on the Twin Cities area. Consequently, there is a high concentration of Avatars of Vengeance in the Bad Mojo setting.
A Minneapolis sanitation worker by day, and dipsomancer by night, this unioner is obsessed with two related things: Guns and Death. It all started when, during a particularly wild drinking binge, Wally attempted to shoot a shot glass off of his wife's head, William Tell style. He failed. Ever since, he has escaped further and further into alcoholism; he claims to be able to speak with his dead wife when he has enough "charges."
Add all of the Seven Samurai together, then throw in Duncan MacLeod for good measure, and you might have something approximating Brad Crow. He was brought up VERY seriously by a kung-fu master living in Japan. Brad sees the rise of dishonor as the cause of the decline of civilization. He enforces the laws of The Covenant with fists and blades.
This unioner thug loves two things: Self-improvement and Computers. In the first pusuit, he has learned epideromancy and many martial arts. In pursuit of the latter, he has established a respectable reputation in the "hacker" community. He works for The Covenant to further his own power and renown.
One of the most altruistic members of her organization, Willi believes that a union of adepts will facilitate the sharing of knowledge and resources. Willi is known for practicing a rather unusual form of dipsomancy that is based, not on alcohol, but on chocolate. Due to her hypoglycemia, too much sugar makes her as tipsy as to much booze.
Unlike most epideromancers, Windwalker cares little about his appearance. In fact, he just can't stand to be clean. Despite the stains on his shirts, and stubble on his face, Windwalker's combat and magic skills make him an able adversary. He knows enough to fear the Occult Underground's major players, and campaigns for The Covenant in preparation for the day when Wrath no longer protects the Twin Cities.
Wrath is a dark, revenge-driven psychopath who visits violent Justice on anyone who uses magick for Evil. Wrath has made his home in the Twin Cities, and his presence has so far kept the Occult Underground's major players away. The New Inquisition and True Order of Saint-Germain, in particular, have lost many operatives to Wrath. His powerful Channels make Wrath a virtually unstoppable juggernaut; he cannot be captured, hidden from, or killed... at least not permanently.
