(Significant Artifcat)
Jack Burton: "What's inside?"
Egg Shen: "Wind, Fire, all that sort of thing!"
Jack Burton: "What does this do... exactly?"
Egg Shen: "Gives a HUGE buzz!"
This is a single-use artifact in the form of a magic potion. It is created through an adept's use of the Ritual of Taming the Wild Skull Weasel.
The adept must perform the Ritual as described, except he must expend a number of charges, and perform a final step to lock it's power within a fluid. When the adept buried the clay pot of water chestnuts and rice vinegar, he must expend a minor charge. When the chestnuts are pulverized, he must expend a minor charge. After removing the oil from the forge's heat but before adding the sheet of paper, the adept must expend a minor charge.
After harvesting the green dots, the adept must place them in a opaque container of about 2 liter volume, add approximately one liter of any sort of alcohol, and spend a significant charge. The fluid within the jar will turn dark green and begin to smoke. Allow the elixir to age for a minimum of one year, in a cool, damp place. Now, the potion is ready. This recipe makes about six doses.
When drunk, the Six Demon Bag has three main effects.
1. Feelin' Kind of Invincible: The character gains a +10% shift on all physical actions.
2. See Things No One Else Can See, Do Things No One Else Can Do: The character has temporary Aura Sight, no roll needed. They may also attack immaterial foes (like astral parasites, unbodied demons, possibly even entropics!) physically.
3. My Mind and Spirit Are One: Add the character's Mind and Soul stats together
for purposes of stat rolls or Stress Checks while
under the influence. This is worth a +20% shift on all Mind or Soul skills.
The downside of taking this potion is that the drink feels invincible (foolhardy), sees things no one else can see (reacts to empty air), does things no one else can do (fights with empty air), and his Mind and Spirit are one (becomes highly emotional, dopey, seems plastered, acts holier-than-thou, gets cryptic, and stinks of booze).
Each dose lasts ten minutes. A Dipsomancer, instead of utilizing it's effects, may quaff a Six Demon Bag elixir for a Significant charge.
