The Chamber Pot (Significant) The Crucible (Significant)
Both are loose nicknames given to the vessels used by Mortimancers to store their significant charges. They can be used to store only one Major charge but can hold up to nine significant charges. Both of these charges require that you possess one or the other. After all the charges are gone from the vessel, you need to make a new one. It must be made by The Mortimancer or someone that the Mortimancer has revived for such a purpose. For the sake of creation however it uses the Mortimancer's abilities.
Crucibles are preferred by Sharers while Ambulance Chasers prefer The Chamberpot. An Ambulance Chasers might call it a bedpan if he has a sick sense of humor. The Chamberpot was also known as a cauldron back in times of antiquity, thoughtholds no fluid beyond what one sticks in it. The Crucible is not actually a crucible but rather a censer. Though anything which something can be placed in and burned in will work just as well. The Crucible is able to set aflame fluids which would normally not combust.
If found, they can be destroyed by throwing it or kicking it over. Though it would be like stamping on a small pile of C-4. It is up to the GM to decide the extent of the blast but remember all charges will be lost and that The Mortimancer who built it would take the damage as well. Wherever they are, be it in the room or across town. Mortimancers are very protective of their storage vessels.
The Blood Egg (Major)
It is alleged that very powerful Mortimancers can store a portion of their life force inside the black egg of a black hen. By doing such it kills the chick within but it makes a good place to store life force. Whether this is true and whether or not life force is the vitality (Body) or the spirit (Soul) is up to the needs of the world where your story takes place.
Skinshirt (Major)
Due to the power that Mortimancers have at their disposal and the need to kill another Mortimancer to get a Major Charge, they are obviously cautious of one another. The death of a Mortimancer is inevitable and more than likely be at the hand of their own kind. So it is imperative for The Mortimancer to get a new identity every so often. To better their odds and maybe cheat The Reaper for alittle while.
And The Skinshirt may be the way. How you go about making no one knows. It seems fairly self explanatory. How long does it last? What will it do? Change the look of your body or give you a new one?
Strings of The Puppet ( Major)
These macabre strings of tanned human skin would allow one to manipulate the movements one of corpse with a finesse that Body Memories could never allow since the actions of the body would bend to the will of The Mortimancer. But what must one use for a puppet? Another person? An effigy of the dead? Could these strings be used to create the hordes of Animated Corpses which proliferate the legends of old?
