SSH Clients for Windows operating systems:

SSH Clients for Macintosh:

We will use PuTTY because it is a free client for United States residents.

1. Open PuTTY. It will ask you for a configuration.
Place scc.net for hostname and Check SSH then press Open.

2. After the program talks to our server it grabs our secure key.
Click Yes.

3. Type in your username and password.

Once you have successfully logged in you should get a command prompt like this: SOUND:~$
