This document is made for people that have installed Eudora correctly and are changing existing settings. This document uses Eudora 5.0.2.
Make sure Eudora is running and you are in the main screen. Click "tools/options".
Change the following to your personal or business information.
Place your email address in the next box, wich should be your username@scc.net or username@yourdomain.com.
Change the Incoming mail server to "pop3.scc.net".
Make sure your username is in the Login Name field.
Change the SMTP Server (Outgoing) to "smtp.scc.net" and make sure Allow authentication is checked.
So your options should have changed as the following
Next click on the "Checking Mail" selection.
Change the "Mail Server" to "pop3.scc.net" if it has not already changed itself. Make sure your username is under the "Login Name"
Now click on the "Incoming Mail" selection.
Make sure that "POP" is selected under the Server configuration.
Now select the "Sending Mail" selection on the left.
Make sure your "Return address" is your username@scc.net or username@yourdomain.com. Also make sure that your "SMTP Server" is "smtp.scc.net".
Click OK then Check Mail!
Your Settings should now be correct.
