Phone Number Problems with Windows 3.1 If you are unable to connect to Sound Internet but you hear your modem dial the number, you may have the wrong phone number in your configuration. Effective 1/26/98 Sound Intenet switched to 56K modems. Over the next few weeks SCC will phasing out the older 871-7886 and 871-7749 modem banks.
