Phone Number Problems with Linux If you are unable to connect to Sound Internet but you hear your modem dial the number, you may have the wrong phone number in your configuration. Effective 1/26/98 Sound Internet switched to 56K modems. Over the next few weeks SCC will phasing out the 871-7886 and 871-7749 modem banks. Please change your dial in phone number to 651 556-6556.
