Configuring Linux Parameters for Sound Internet

Various Internet-based programs require special information in order to configure them. Here is a list of the most frequently needed information. In the examples below, remember to replace the username with your Sound Internet username.

Internet eMail

eMail software may require some of the following information:

POP Mail Server - pop3.scc.net
SMTP Server - smtp.scc.net
POP Mail Account - username@scc.net

Internet Newsgroups

NNTP Server - news.scc.net
SMTP Server - smtp.scc.net

IRC - Internet Relay Chat
