| Here are instructions for configuring Windows NT for your DSL. |
How to configure Windows NT
for DSL
- Double-click on "My Computer"
- Double-click on "Control Panel"
- Double-click on "Network"
- Select the "Protocols" tab
- Select "TCP/IP"
- Select to "Specify IP Address"
- In the available blank, enter an IP address assigned to you by Sound Internet
- Each computer requires a unique IP address.
- In the available blank, type in the gateway address provided to you by Sound Internet
- Click the "DNS Configuration" tab
- Select "Enable DNS"
- Host: Use your Sound Internet username, or else your computer name (i.e.
WS7)
- Domain: scc.net
- DNS Server Search Order: 199.199.195.5 and then click "Add"
- Click "OK" button
- Click "OK" button again
- You will then be informed that your computer needs to restart in order to change
the settings. At that prompt, click "Yes"
