Here are instructions for configuring Windows NT for your DSL.

How to configure Windows NT for DSL

  • Double-click on "My Computer"
  • Double-click on "Control Panel"
  • Double-click on "Network"
  • Select the "Protocols" tab
  • Select "TCP/IP"
  • Select to "Specify IP Address"
  • In the available blank, enter an IP address assigned to you by Sound Internet
  • Each computer requires a unique IP address.
  • In the available blank, type in the gateway address provided to you by Sound Internet
  • Click the "DNS Configuration" tab
  • Select "Enable DNS"
  • Host: Use your Sound Internet username, or else your computer name (i.e. WS7)
  • Domain: scc.net
  • DNS Server Search Order: 199.199.195.5 and then click "Add"
  • Click "OK" button
  • Click "OK" button again
  • You will then be informed that your computer needs to restart in order to change the settings. At that prompt, click "Yes"
