Here are instructions for DSL divided into categories. Some configurations are necessary to connect, even after running the Intel Pro/DSL 2100 CD.

These are instructions for configuring your DSL for Windows 2000 Professional using your Sound Internet Account in bridging mode.

First start by right clicking on My Network Places and selecting Properties.
Next you need to right click on Local Area Connection.
In the next window you need to highlight check and highlight TCP/IP and click on Properties.
Now you need to choose Specify an IP address. You will need to put in the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway assigned to you form Sound Internet. You will also need to specify the DNS server. The IP address is 199.199.195.5.
Finally, you need to click OK on all of the windows that you have opened up. Windows 2000 Professional does not require you to restart after changing IP addresses like the previous version of Windows did.
