Here are instructions for setting your Cisco 675/678 into Bridged Mode for your DSL connection.

How to Configure your DSL Router to Bridged Mode

For PC:

Open Hypterminal
Create Session
Select Communications Port
Port Settings: 38400 (not bits per second)
Flow Control: None
Click OK

You should see a screen with either a flashing cursor or "Password:"
prompt. Hit ENTER a few times.
For Mac:
Open ZTerm
Select Settings
Select Connection
Data Rate: 38400
Data Bits: 8
Parity: None
Stop Bits: 1
Flow Control: Xon/Xoff

You should see a screen with either a flashing cursor or a "Password:" 
prompt. Hit ENTER a few times.
For both PC and Mac:
At the cbox>, type "enable" and hit enter.
Password?  DON'T TYPE A PASSWORD, JUST HIT ENTER

cbos# set nvram erase
cbos# write
cbos# reboot
password: [press enter]
cbos> enable
password: [press enter]
cbos# set bridging rfc1483 enabled
cbos# write
cbos# reboot

If that doesn't work try clearing sector 6:

Hold Control-C while releasing and plugging power back in
Then type:
=>es 6
** Erasing sector 0000006

After the cycle completes:
=>go
then hit enter
** Screen will be scrolling with information
=>Reboot
Hit enter a few times
Hit enter after password
*********
CBOS>enable
Password: hit enter

CBOS#set bridging rfc1483 enabled

Hit enter and it should be running...

CBOS#set bridging management enabled
CBOS#write
CBOS#reboot

File> Exit Hyperterminal or ZTerm
Then restart your computer
