Changing the dialup number in Windows 95 or Windows 98

  • Double click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
  • Double click on Dial-Up Networking.
  • Locate your Sound Internet OR SCC.Net connection icon.
  • Right Hand Click on the Sound Internet or SCC.Net icon, and select Properties.
  • Change the Telephone Number to 651 556-6556.
  • Click OK

    Changing the dialup number in Windows 3.1

    For Trumpet Users
  • Located the Trumpet Dialer icon in your Program Manager's Internet group and Double click on it.
  • From the Dialer menu option, select Setup.cmd.
  • From here you will see your username, Click OK, then password - Click OK. In the next sequence, the old phone number will be displayed, replace it with 651 556-6556 , then click OK

    For Microsoft Dialer Users

  • Double-Click on the SCC.Net telephone icon in your internet group
  • Click the Properties button
  • Change the Telephone Number to 651 556-6556, then click OK.

    Changing the dialup number for Macintosh

    For Remote Access Users
  • Locate the Remote Access Control Panel
  • Change the Telephone Number to 651 556-6556, click OK.

    For ConfigPPP or MacPPP Users

  • Locate either the ConfigPPP or PPP control panel and double click it.
  • Click on the Configuration or Options tab (varies between panels).
  • Change the Telephone Number to 651 556-6556, click OK.

    For FreePPP Users

  • Locate the telephone icon on the upper right-hand side of your Macintosh desktop.
  • Click the icon to display the pop-down menu and select FreePPP Setup.
  • Click on the Accounts tab.
  • Select the Sound Internet or SCC.Net option and click the Edit tab.
  • Change the Telephone Number to 651 556-6556, click OK.

  • Double-click the PPP Control Panel.
