Additional Information
CGI scripts are available for public use. If you have custom-made CGI
scripts we ask that you submit them for review by our SysAdmin before
implementing them.

20 MB of storage space to host your company's Internet Web
Site. Web development services, secure server, and additional storage space
are available for an additional charge.
Data transfer limits are loosely enforced at 2GB/month. Additional
data transfer is available for $24.95/month. For example, if you transfer
5GB of data per month, your charge would be $74.85/month.
100 MB of storage space to host your company's Internet Web
Site. Web development services, secure server, and additional storage space
are available for an additional charge.
Data transfer limits are loosely enforced at 6GB/month. Additional
data transfer is available for $24.95/month.
20 MB of storage space to host your
company's Internet Web Site. Web development services, ASP and Front Page
support, and additional storage space are available for an additional
charge. Data transfer limits are loosely enforced at 2GB/month. Additional
data transfer is available for $24.95/month. For example, if you transfer
5GB of data per month, your charge would be $74.85/month.
We will register your domain through our InterNIC services and
provide DNS (Domain Name Service) for your domain if you choose
to webhost with us. You do not need to have an account with
Sound Internet in order to register domains through us. The
registration is $25 per year with the option of registering from
one to ten years. A credit card is necessary in order to register
domains. There is a $25 setup fee for creation/modification of
the zone file. If interested, check out http://register.scc.net.
This one-time fee covers the actual domain registration or transfer
of a domain, as
well as any DNS maintenance while you have webhosting with us.
This is separate from the fee for Network Solutions, which is to
keep your domain name reserved. Network Solutions charges $35/year
for up to ten years for domain name reservation.
Allows larger graphics files and more pages to be added to
your web site. There is also an option of a one-time $5/MB
as a buyout, but no backups are available with this option.
There is a $125 one-time charge for secure server setup and you
must also purchase the secure server certification for $125 (renewable
annually for $100). Secure server charges are in addition to
business web service monthly charges.
All of our servers are Intel-based UNIX (Linux) and running Apache.
Additionally, our servers include MySQL, PHP, and common log
format for logging (all usage logs to
your site will be in the same log) and support SuExec CGI, automatic log parsing with
Webalizer, SSH, FTP, and telnet. MySQL is an extra $24.95 a month - no setup fee.
In technical jargon it's called 'Multi-Homing.' This gives
us extra protection against outages. Should one of our links
to the Internet suffer an unexpected failure we have backup
facilities in place to automatically take over. What it
means to you is more reliable access to the Internet. Most
Internet providers try to cut corners by using only a single
link... putting all their eggs in one basket.
Accounts are activated within 24 hours. In most cases we can
have you up and running on the Internet within
minutes.
Should you ever run into problems you can be assured
top-notch support. Our telephone lines are answered 7 days a
week. No need to wade through endless mazes in some
voice-mail system, wouln't you rather be greeted promptly by
a human voice?
Our comprehensive backup strategy assures you of the highest
degree of data reliability.
