Service Plans and Options:
Packaged Billing Option
On many of our ISDN service plans we are now offering package billing.
SCC will act as your personal telecommunications consultant with the
phone company. The ISDN phone service will be included in the SCC
internet bill. SCC deals
directly with the phone company and handles all the technical details
and billing issues.
56K Data Over Voice
Data over voice is a true two way 56K Dial-up
connection. Please note that not all ISDN equipment is capable of Data
Over Voice. Some ISDN equipment needs special configuration in order to
use this.
64K ISDN
- Dial-up: This service is designed for users who need medium
bandwidth. SCC includes 200 Hours* of Internet service with this plan.
SCC does not offer packaged billing with this type of service.
- Dedicated: Our dedicated plan has no time limits. Our
equipment always calls your ISDN equipment.
- Packaged pricing is available with this plan.
128K ISDN
- Dial-up: This service is designed for users who need medium
bandwidth. SCC includes 200 Hours* of Internet service with this plan.
SCC does not offer packaged billing with this type of service.
- Call-Back: With call-back service you make a call to our ISDN
pool. Our equipment reads the caller ID of your ISDN number and calls
back.SCC includes 200 hours* of Internet service with this plan.
This service is
best suited for users who need a "virtual" two-way connection, but are not
ready for dedicated.
SCC does not offer packaged billing with this type of service.
- Dedicated: Our dedicated plan has no time limits. Our
equipment always calls your ISDN equipment.
- Packaged pricing is available with this plan.
Additional hours are $1.00/hour per channel. (128K Service uses two channels)
Routed Network
For a nominal fee, SCC will route IP addresses through your ISDN.
(See price chart below.) SCC does not set a specific IP limit for any
specific
plans and will provide it's customers with any "reasonable"
amount of addresses.
Installation Applicable only to Package Billing
On plans where SCC is providing the ISDN line (See price chart below) a
installation fee will apply. This charge is based on the Qwest
installation charges. This will normally be from $100 to $200 dollars
depending on the distance from the central office.

Seperate, independently billed Phone Company charges apply unless you choose
a packaged price
plan.
Installation fee is based on Qwest's ISDN installation charges.
Installation/Set-Up fees do not include on-site configuration, phone
wiring, or network wiring. SCC does offer competitive pricing on these
services. Please feel free to call for a quote as pricing varies and may
change
frequently.

ISDN Pricing
May 11, 1999 - Qwest has totally revamped their ISDN pricing. Both
the totally
metered and the 200 hour pricing plans have been discontinued. The only
option available is unmetered service. The base rate is $68.00, but
that does not include ANY taxes or fees.
This new price does not include Qwest installation which is $100-$200
to connect to the DMarc. That fee also does not include internal wiring or
jack installation.

Cost Analysis
As always, the plan you choose will vary depending on what you plan to do
with your connection. VODS and Dial-Up ISDN are recommended for putting a
single PC or small LAN onto the Internet. If you are planning to put a
server of some
type onto the Internet or want to support a medium to large LAN, a Dedicated
plan would be the best
bet.
Look at how much time your line will be in use. If you are thinking about
64K service consider that you will have a free POTS (Plain Old Telephone
Service) port free to use as your phone line. By replacing your old
telephone service with ISDN you may only be looking at a nominal telephone
bill increase.

Package pricing was designed to help both our business and consumer
customers get ISDN service easily. SCC takes care of all the
communications with the phone company. You do not receive a bill from
Qwest when you choose package pricing. Simply said, SCC becomes your
personal communications consultant. Package pricing also helps you budget
exactly how much your ISDN connection will cost.
We've based the package price on the average ISDN caller profile. With
package pricing your cost will always be the same each month.
