DSL (Digital Subscriber Line) is a new telecommunications technology that utilizies the bandwidth of the phonelines already running into your home or business to offer you always-on high-speed Internet. Sick of dealing with slow modems? With DSL, you can achieve speeds up to 25 times faster than an analog modem!
Sound Internet provides raDSL services, which is Rate Adaptive DSL, an extension of aDSL used to support varying upstream and downstream bandwidth configurations depending on the line's transmission quality. All you need to begin is an existing phoneline that meets certain Qwest DSL requirements.
What is the price?
DSL pricing has two portions to it - the Qwest DSL phone service (which you will
receive on your monthly phone statement) and the Sound Internet Internet account.

How do I get started?
If you're unsure if DSL is available in your area check out
the our DSL Service Database to find out if DSL
is available in your neighborhood.
When you are ready to order, you can use our on-line ordering system for purchasing both Qwest DSL phone service and SCC DSL Internet accounts. You may also call us at (612) 617-0007 for ordering SCC DSL Internet Accounts or order directly from Qwest. We can even communicate with Qwest on your behalf to place the Qwest portion of your order for you, saving you the hassle.
What if I don't qualify for DSL?
If you are between 15,000 and 36,000 feet from your Central Office, you may
qualify for iDSL services which began April 17, 2000. Check out our
