Domain Registration Services Sound Internet offers a wide variety of services to fit your needs for Internet connectivity. Below is a list of our domain registration service offerings. Domain Registration via Sound Internet - $25 per year Register your domain through our registration services and provide DNS (Domain Name Service) for your domain if you choose to webhost with us. You do not need to have an account with Sound Internet in order to register domains through us. The registration is $25 per year with the option of registering from one to ten years. A credit card is necessary in order to register domains.  If interested, check out http://register.scc.net. DNS Configuration Charges Domain name setup fees include the creation, modification and maintenance of the DNS zone files. DNS is critical in the operation of the internet as it provides the direction of traffic for all domain names and addresses. SCC charges a one time fee of $25 (50% off list rate) if the domain is registered through our registration services or $50 if registered with a different registrar. You do not have to host your domain on our network or web/mail servers should you choose to host elsewhere or on your own network. Domain Name Registration via Network Solutions or Other Registrar - $50 one time setup fee This one-time fee covers DNS configurations for your domain if registered through any registrar other than SCC's.  This is a configuration fee and does not include the domain name ownership license charged by registrars as Network Solutions or any registrar. Currently the cost through Network Solutions is $35/year for up to ten years for domain name reservation. Other registrar pricing will vary.
